OCTOBER 2nd at 5pm: Sunday Musical Meditation Schola Cantorum

Founded by Yulene Velásquez in November 2015, the Schola Cantorum of New Orleans is a chamber choir inspired by the Schola Cantorum of Venezuela. The group performs new works by local composers, and contemporary choral music that reflects the diversity of cultures in New Orleans and around the world. The performance will include new compositions, including the Mass (2016) by acclaimed New Orleans composer Tucker Fuller, as well as traditional music from Catalonia, Macedonia and Bolivia. Suggested donation: $20.00.

Schola Cantorum  ::

In their debut concert in May 2016, Schola premiered the Mass by acclaimed New Orleans composer Tucker Fuller.

– Moliendo Café (Hugo Blanco/Arr:Ricardo Cabrera)
